Accolades on the world stage

Australia’s best red wine, not an easy claim to substantiate, but this was exactly the honour bestowed upon our 2015 Estate Syrah at the 2018 International Wine Challenge in London where it was awarded the trophy for the best Australian red wine. Along with the trophy for best Victorian Shiraz and the trophy for Best Australian Shiraz.

The accolades have not stopped there. Our 2015 Estate Pinot Noir was awarded a Platinum award at the 2018 Decanter World Wine Awards. Arguably the most prestigious and certainly one of the largest competitions with close to 17,000 wines entered. Platinum awards are presented to the wines considered by the judges to be the best-of-the-best from the gold medal winners in a class. An overwhelming endorsement that we are producing world-class wines.

As a final flourish, Samantha’s Paddock has been proclaimed masterful. The 2014 and 2015 vintages were both recipients of Gold medals at the 2018 Global Cabernet Masters. All these accolades show the extraordinary commitment from Chief winemaker Paul and the winemaking team in their tireless pursuit of perfection.
