TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Levantine Hill Hotel (Hotel). We are delighted to have you as our guest and are committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all our guests, we kindly ask that you read and adhere to the following terms and conditions. By registering and staying with us, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, which are designed to maintain the comfort, security, and well-being of everyone on our premises.
1. Check In and Check Out
1.1 The following check in and check out times apply to your Hotel Reservation:
· Check in: 3:00pm onwards on the day of arrival
· Check out: 10:00am on the day of departure
1.2 If you overstay by more than 2 hours on the day of departure, we reserve the right to charge one 1 additional nights’ fee.
1.3 Subject to availability, you are able to request an early check in or late check out for a fee, which will be confirmed by us at the time of the request.
2. Reservation confirmation
2.1 On arrival at the Hotel, you must provide a confirmation of your Hotel Reservation, either in printed form or electronically. Any changes to the Hotel Reservation must be communicated to us in advance.
3. Photo Identification
3.1 A valid government-issued photo identification matching the name of the primary guest registered on the Reservation Summary must be presented at the time of check-in/arrival. This is a prerequisite to verifying your identity for hotel security purposes.
3.2 Acceptable forms of photo identification may include one of the following:
3.2.1 an Australian Federal or State Government issued valid photo identification card (ID) including a valid driver’s licence or learner permit;
3.2.2 foreign drivers’ licence;
3.2.3 a valid Passport (from any country); or
3.2.4 Other Australian Government recognised valid proof of age cards.
Please note - unofficial reproduced images (pictures) or photocopies of the above will not be accepted as valid forms of identification.
4. Rooms and key cards
4.1 Rooms will be assigned based on availability and the type of Hotel Reservation. Special requests (such as room location, bed type) will be accommodated when possible but cannot be guaranteed.
4.2 You will receive access cards to your assigned rooms upon check-in. Lost or damaged keys/access cards may incur a replacement fee of $30 per card.
5. Video and audio Surveillance
5.1 For the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property, video and audio surveillance systems are in operation in public areas of the Hotel. By completing the registration process, you acknowledge and accept the use of video and audio surveillance systems within the hotel premises, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Luggage handling and personal belongings
6.1 We can provide luggage assistance services to you upon request. Such services may include the transportation of luggage to and from your assigned room.
6.2 You acknowledge and agree that you are always solely responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings and valuables. We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings and valuables, whether in your room, in transit, or in any other area of the Hotel premises. You are encouraged to utilise the in-room safe or other secure storage facilities provided by us for the safekeeping of valuables.
7. Maximum number of guests
7.1 The Reservation Summary may specify the maximum permitted number of guests who are authorised to stay in a room associated with a Hotel Reservation. If you allow more than the maximum number of people to occupy or stay in the room overnight, you will be liable to pay a supplement of up to $200 per night in respect of each unauthorised guest and your reservation may be terminated immediately.
8. Safety and conduct
8.1 You agree that:
8.1.1 you are responsible for the behaviour of your guests;
8.1.2 the Hotel maintains a strict ‘No Party’ policy. Excessive loud music or noise in rooms that have the potential to disturb other guests will not be tolerated under any circumstances;
8.1.3 all of our accommodation rooms are non-smoking, and smoking and vaping are not permitted on the Hotel premises. A minimum charge of $300 will be incurred if smoking or vaping is performed indoors, on balconies or in courtyards. You agree to pay any emergency service callout fee charged for false alarms. This fee includes circumstances relating to smoking inside the room where the smoke alarm is triggered;
8.1.4 damages of any kind other than normal wear and tear will be charged to your account;
8.1.5 accommodation that is left excessively dirty at departure will be charged an additional cleaning fee to your account;
8.1.6 you will not conduct any illegal activity from the Hotel premises (including the rooms);
8.1.7 you will not use the accommodation for any purpose other than for personal accommodation;
8.1.8 you will refrain from entering vineyard rows or any areas clearly marked as restricted or not for public access;
8.1.9 no people other than the listed registered guests will be admitted into the property after 9:00 pm. We request that non-registered visitors leave all rooms by 11:00pm each evening;
8.1.10 any use of hotel facilitates, including but not limited to the gym, at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damage that may occur to you or your guests while using these facilities. You must follow all posted rules and guidelines for each facility. You are responsible for ensuring your own safety and the safety your guests while using the facilities; and
8.1.11 you are personally liable for any damage to your room or any part of the Hotel premises by you or other people on the Hotel premises as your guest. If you notice any damage that wasn’t caused by you or any guest upon your arrival in your room, you should notify the Hotel reception immediately. Failure to do so may cause charges placed on your account. All rooms at the Hotel are checked upon departure and before arrival.
8.2 We may evict a guest or visitors without warning if any of the events described in this clause occur. If you are evicted from the Hotel, you may be blacklisted from attending the Hotel premises and we may choose to notify the police. You may be subject to such eviction if the following events occur:
8.2.1 If you engage in physical or verbal assault towards Hotel representatives, staff or other guests;
8.2.2 If you are excessively intoxicated or displaying unsavoury behaviour;
8.2.3 If you do anything that results in wilful damage to the Hotel or Hotel premises;
8.2.4 If you are the cause of any incident for which the police need to be called onto the premises; or
8.2.5 If your behaviour is unlawful or otherwise potentially harmful to others.
9. Car Parking
9.1 Car parking facilities are available at the Hotel. Car parking is subject to availability and occasionally may reach capacity. You agree to enter the car park at your own risk. We do not accept any responsibility for damages or loss to your property or property belonging to someone else in the car.
10. Child policy
10.1 A maximum of one child or under the age of 12 years may share with their parents/guardians at an additional charge of $110 per night for a rollaway bed. Guests travelling with multiple children will be required to book a room type that will cater for the number of guests staying, without exceeding the maximum capacity of the chosen room, as indicated at the time of making the booking request.
11. Pet Policy
If you have made a Hotel Reservation, you are permitted to bring dogs weighing under 10kg to the Hotel for an additional charge of $120 per night. Only one dog per room is allowed unless otherwise approved by hotel management. You must ensure your dog is well-behaved and does not disturb other guests. Dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas of the Hotel. You are responsible for cleaning up after their dog and disposing of waste in designated areas. Any damage caused by the dog to hotel property will be deducted from the bond if the cost of repairs exceeds the bond amount, the guest will be responsible for the additional charges.
12. Commercial Use
The Hotel rooms are to be used solely for accommodation and enjoyment and are not to be used as locations for commercial activity. Any activity (including photography and filming) of a commercial or promotional nature is not permitted anywhere within the hotel, without our permission. The Company reserves the right to cancel accommodation and requires the immediate cessation of any activity in breach of this condition.
13. Emergency procedures
13.1 You must familiarise themselves with the Hotel’s emergency procedures, including fire exits and evacuation routes. In case of an emergency, you must follow the instructions provided by hotel staff.
14. Privacy
Your personal information will be collected and used for the purposes of guest registration, reservation management, providing services during the stay and (with your consent) sending you marketing communications regarding our services. If you provide us with personal information about anyone else, such as guests who accompany you, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and you have made them aware of our privacy policy and how to access it. In some cases, we may collect personal information from your representative, such as a travel agent or a person checking in on your behalf. We may share your personal information with third parties (including booking sites, travel agents and our service providers) located overseas (including the USA, Netherlands and the UK). If you do not provide your personal information or the personal information of others in your care or on your booking, we may not be able to provide you or them with all our services. Our Privacy Policy includes our contact details, explains how we handle your personal information, how you can opt out of direct marketing you consent to, how to seek access to and correction of your personal information, how to make a privacy complaint and how we deal with these complaints.
15. Definitions
Hotel means the establishment named Levantine Hill Hotel located at 882 Maroondah Hwy, Coldstream VIC 3770.
Hotel Reservation means a reservation of one or more rooms at the Hotel, confirmed in the Reservation Summary.
Reservation Summary means a document or digital confirmation provided to You at the time of booking, detailing the key aspects of your accommodation reservation at the Hotel.
You means the person making a reservation with the Hotel.
We/us means 882 Hospitality Pty Ltd (trading as Levantine Hill) and each of its related entities (in accordance with the definitions in the Corporations Act 2001).
