An exemplary ultra-low cropping season with a new winemaking philosophy gave rise to the production of this distinctive cool climate sparkling rosé.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the wine is tempered by fine natural acidity with delicate fruit flavours harnessing a rich finish.
The increased fruit intensity, plus fermentation and maturation in a single large oak barrel have contributed to an intense yet elegantly restrained wine. After 11 months in oak, this single batch was tiraged for its secondary fermentation in bottle and kept on lees to mature until disgorgement to enhance its richness and textural attributes. This painstaking, uncompromised, method produces the most elegant sparkling wine in the world.
As this release is a limited-edition, with less than 900 bottles produced, we have collaborated with renowned Australian designer and illustrator Alexandra Nea to create a bespoke label. All bottles will also come in their own individual gift box.
