This distinctive, cool climate sparkling Rosé emerges from arguably the best Yarra Valley vintage of the decade, coupled with a new winemaking philosophy.
A blend of three distinct batches, the fruit was hand-picked, and gently whole-bunch pressed prior to fermentation. It was then aged in French oak barrels.
The superlative intensity of 100% Pinot Noir is tempered by fine, natural acidity with confident fruit flavours to harness a rich finish. This unique cuvée has been matured for three and a half years on its settled yeast lees to enhance its intensity and expression. With less than 330 cases made, this wine is a true rarity.
As per our inaugural release of the 2014 vintage, we have collaborated with renowned Australian illustrator Alexandra Nea to create a bespoke label featuring our iconic Cellar Door wine barrels designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects. All bottles will also come in their own individual gift box.
