When the government gave us the green light to open, we were thrilled to have our team return to serve you at our cellar door and restaurant. Since that announcement, we have strived to keep our doors open six days a week and to host as many guests as possible.
It is widely known that staff shortages are plaguing the hospitality industry. Several institutions have shut their doors or reduced their days and hours of service. Unlike many in the business, the founding family of Levantine Hill offered all of our hospitality employees ongoing work in our vineyards throughout the lockdown. Our people are our biggest and most valued asset, and we are blessed to have retained all those who make Levantine Hill what it is.
In order to meet the demands of running a premium hospitality business during these challenging times, reservations are currently capped to two hours. This has not allowed our guests to adequately experience our premium wines, delicious food, amazing art and architecture, and the overall Yarra Valley experience.
For this reason, we have made the decision to further rationalise our food offering to either a five or seven course selection, with an extended reservation time, allowing you to enjoy more of what our cellar door has to offer, and receive more attentive service without feeling rushed.
This change is effective from this Saturday 20 November 2021.
