Levantine Hill Estate wines will only be produced in outstanding years when nature is generous and the grapes are impeccable.
Starting along the shores of the Yarra River at 75 metres and peaking at 225 metres above sea level, Levantine Hill Estate’s vines fan out over steep clay loam slopes at similar elevations to the Grand Crus vineyards of Chablis, France.
Coldstream, Yarra Valley, Victoria
From 75m to 225m above sea level.
The Yarra Valley is cooler than most Australian viticultural regions and has limited maritime influence. Rainfall patterns are generally winter/spring dominant, and the summer is relatively cool and dry.
